HEIG-VD Campus App
11 May 2024
Project
The HEIG-VD contact page is outdated. Our goal was to redesign the page by providing a more intuitive and efficient experience for users. We applied the Double Diamond methodology to deeply understand the problem before defining and developing a solution.

Approach
Our research phase focused on understanding user needs and identifying key use cases:
- Quickly find staff members
- Easily contact them
- Locate them within campus buildings
From our analysis, we identified several opportunities to enhance usability:
- Advanced search features with filtering options for faster contact discovery
- Direct messaging access for seamless communication
- Schedule integration to check staff availability
Result
The redesign process involved user research, prototyping, usability testing, and UI/UX design to create a functional and optimized platform for campus users. The final design offers a clean and intuitive interface, making it easier for students and staff to connect.
