Lost in Scroll

Where is Santa? Where are the Easter eggs? When absence becomes the message. Lost in the Scroll consists of two greeting cards: one for Christmas and one for Easter. Each is also augmented with a website.

Approach

The cards were crafted using two linocut plates, with intentional imperfections adding to the handmade aesthetic. Instead of QR codes, handwritten URLs invite users to transition from print to digital. The websites mimic the infinite scroll of social media, immersing users in a search with no resolution.

Result

The project blends analog and digital media, offering a thought-provoking take on online habits. The interaction makes the experience both playful and frustrating. The project was also an opportunity to experiment with game web development.
